Mongkok Dimsum House @ the New Glorietta 5

this was March 16, 2009 (late post, ngaun lang nagkaroon ng time )

Ayala Malls sets out to innovate and demonstrate comfort and luxury once again at the lush confines of the urban setting in the Makati Central Business District as it opens its newest retail and business destination — Glorietta 5.

it's actually a set meeting with my cousin jhun and mary for our family reunion on april... we all agreed to go for chinese food.

we all loved:
hot salad (chicken & shrimp)
chicken with mango sauce

we were so full, the serving is big and the prices are reasonable...

Day 1 (April 1)
Museo de La Salle (DLSU-Dasmarinas)
Science Centrum (ICA-Dasmarinas)
Peninsula de Punta Fuego

Day 2
Terrazas de Punta Fuego
Tagaytay

Museo de La Salle- is a lifestyle museum dedicated to the preservation of certain aspects and material culture of the 19th century Philippine ilustrado lifestyle. The Museo has been established to encourage its use in cross-disciplinary learning and growth in an academic environment, and to provide a living space illustrating Philippine culture that is linked to its immediate community, and that reaches out to those outside.

personally, it is now one of my favorite museum in the philippines together with the villa escudero museum... it is comprised of a wide array of antique family hierlooms donated by some of the richest clan in the philippines. too bad, we can't take pictures inside....our next stop was the Immaculate Conception Academy Science Centrum, it is amazing how the ICA-Dasmarinas provided such exhibits for their students. it's a great playground for the kids who love science.

and finally the Club Punta Fuego...

Peninsula de Punta Fuego ("point of fire"), aptly called for this 88-hectare flame shaped land mass, is only one of three jutting out of the coastline of Nasugbu into the South China Sea.

Blessed with twelve (12) beach coves, historical accounts show the peninsula as the site of battle between the Spanish Galleon San Diego and the Dutch battleship Mauritius on December 14, 1600.

- as soon as we checked into our beautiful casitas room which i shared with ate mabel, i was really in awe... i fell in love with our room especially the spectacular view of the peninsula... plus the special feature of the spacious bathroom with unglazed tiles leading to a pocket garden...

- we finally experienced the sea at the Long Beach which is about 5 minutes drive from our casitas by tranvia... i love beach, but i usually hate crowd... here, is truly an amazing experienece. we were about 3 groups at the beach in which is we are the biggest group (we were a group of 12)... good thing ryan & joyce is equipped with snorkeling gadgets, we truly enjoyed the amazing underwater scenes. it was so amazing to see a lot of beautiful fishes and corals and of course we loved the underwater camera of ate juliet... (i can't wait to post that pictures)... then a few steps from the long beach is the Il Jardineto at Lower Beach - It's casual dining pleasure by the pool and Long Beach.we enjoyed the pool and the sunset! the off we went back to our casitas to freshen up for dinner!

San Diego Restaurant
Take pleasure in wining and dining amidst the spectacular view of the Sunset Cove and the Double Infinity Pool at San Diego Restaurant. Located in the heart of the Main Club, San Diego offers the finest in Spanish cuisine as well as some classic Filipino favorites.

- we had a great dinner at the san diego restaurant which an amazing view of the unique double infinity pool...

- i am not a morning person, i hate waking up in the morning, but at punta fuego i really obliged myself to experience the morning breeze in our lanai and of course with our coffee and fruits... then we went back to the san diego restaurant for our hearty breakfast and a bit of prime business meeting... and finally, the unique double infinity pool with endless underwater picture taking courtesy of ate juliet's underwater camera hehe... we checked-out at 12 noon for the next destination which is the terrazas de punta fuego.

Terrazas de Punta Fuego
Set amidst the naturally lush, terraced landscape of the Pedrosa ancestral estate, Terrazas is at the center of Nasugbu’s best beaches.

Only 15 minutes away from Peninsula de Punta Fuego, it is a tropical jewel with an 800 meter stretch of fine white sand.

Cabañas
The 28 cabañas ranging in sizes for a family of a dozen or a couple for a massage serve as refuge for a break from the hot beach. Situated along the landscaped Boardwalk, the setting takes you to the beaches of Bali only better.

- we enjoyed the filipino food served at the Cafe' Sol, and loved the Bali inspired Cabanas... really great for picture taking! as well as the multi-level twin pool with jacuzzi... but what amazes me more is the shower room... loved the interiors!

- it was indeed a great experience... given a chance i would love to come back... i am now in the verge of becoming a member.. hahaha i wish!

- just one comment though, the staff at terrazas de punta fuego is not as warm as the staffs of the peninsula de punta fuego... though it was okay but mas warm and friendly talaga ung mga taga peninsula...
